I got an email about having changed my password or phone number but I'm not sure it's real

If you're worried about an email you received from us being fake or someone having hacked your account, there's an easy way to make sure.

You can check your account activity, which records most events related to your account's security (such as when you signed in or changed things like your password or phone number). To do this:

  1. Sign in to your TurboTax account
  2. Select Intuit Account in the lower left corner
  3. In the Manage your account section, select Sign In & Security
  4. Select Account activity to view all events related to your account

An email from us is marked with a small envelope icon and gives the reason we sent it.
