What does it mean to see Outstanding Approval Odds?

SOLVEDby TurboTaxUpdated 5 days ago

If you see an Outstanding badge on offers for a credit card or a personal loan, that indicates that Intuit Credit Karma has determined you satisfy certain criteria used by the lender to get this offer. The other badges, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair or Poor, also indicate Credit Karma’s determination of your chances of being approved by the lender based on our review of your credit profile compared to other Credit Karma members who were approved for this product or whether you meet certain criteria determined by the lender.

However, no badge is a guarantee of approval. The lender will still review your application, including evaluating factors that we did not consider (such as your previous customer history or a different credit report and credit score used by the lender) as well as verifying your income. For example, a lender may deem you ineligible for an offer if:

  • you don’t meet the lender’s ability to pay standard;
  • you’ve been declined by the lender within the last 90 days; or
  • you already have the maximum number of accounts allowed by the lender.
