I forgot my password in the TurboTax Mobile App

If you forgot your password, follow these steps:

  1. Open the TurboTax Mobile App.
  2. Enter your phone number, email, or user ID and select Sign In.
  3. If you entered your phone number or email, enter the verification code we’ve sent you. Then select the user ID you’d like to use.
  4. Select Sign in a different way.
  5. You’ll be given options based on the information you’ve provided us. If you can receive verification codes through the email address and phone number that’s connected to your account, you’ll be able to sign in without a password.
  6. If you can’t access the email address and phone number connected to your account, select Verify a different way, which will take you to the Account Recovery Request tool.
