How to look up the email address connected to your Intuit Credit Karmaaccount
If you don't know or can’t remember the email address you used to sign up for Credit Karma, you can look it up here: Find the email address on your Credit Karma account
If you find that your account is registered to an email that you no longer have access to, you may still be able to log in if you can remember your password. If you can’t remember your password, use the instructions below to help you verify your identity, update your password, and log back into your account.

How to change or update your email address on Credit Karma
Updating the email address connected to your Credit Karma account is a common process many members need at some point in their financial journey. Below you will find navigational instructions for desktop and mobile web and for the Credit Karma Mobile App for changing your email address after logging into your account.
On desktop or mobile web:
- Log into your Credit Karma account
- In the upper right corner, hover over Profile and Settings and click on Security Settings
- Scroll down to the Change Email section and click Edit
- Type in your new email address twice as well as your password in the corresponding fields
- Click Update
- Check for a verification email sent to your new email address with a confirmation link

- Click the confirmation link in the email to verify your new email address and log back into your Credit Karma account
On the Credit Karma mobile app:
- Tap the Menu icon in the top right corner of the app
- Tap Settings under General
- Tap Contact & Security
- Tap Edit next to your email address
- Type in your new email address twice as well as your password in the corresponding fields
- Tap Update
- Check for a verification email sent to your new email address with a confirmation link

How to change or update your email address if you can’t login to Credit Karma
You may still be able to recover access to your account and change the email address on file even if you no longer have access to your old email address.
The steps you’ll need to take will depend on whether or not you’ve signed up for a Credit Karma Money™ Save or Spend account, or if you have two-factor authentication enabled. To get started, choose which answer applies to you and use the link to read about next steps:

If you opted into one or more of these experiences, you should be able to recover your account using your mobile device. Follow these steps to reset your password, regain access to your account, and update the email address connected to your account:
- Use this link to navigate to the Account Recovery page
- Enter the email address connected to your account, the last four digits of you Social Security Number, and click Continue
- A message will appear near the top of the page, click the hyperlink to recover your account with your mobile device
4. Enter your phone number and click Text me
5. Enter the verification code that was sent to your phone and click Verify
6. Enter a new password and click Submit
7. Log back into Credit Karma using your old email address and your new password
- Now that you’re logged in, use the instructions above to update your email address
No, I have not signed up for a Credit Karma Money™ Save or Spend account, or enabled two-factor authentication
If you have not linked your phone number to your Credit Karma account, you may be able to verify your identity and update your password another way.
Similar to the steps described above, you will use this link to navigate to the Account Recovery page. After entering the email address associated with your account and the last four digits of your Social Security Number, you will be prompted to answer a few security questions to verify your identity.
If you answer the questions correctly, you will be able to reset your password. If the security questions do not to show up, or if the answers you selected don’t match the information we have on file, there is still another way you may be able to verify your identity. After choosing a new password, you should log into Credit Karma using the old email address and your new password.
Once you have logged back in, make sure you update your email address using the steps outlined above.
I did not pass the identity verification quiz
If the security questions failed to show up for you or the answers you selected don’t match the information we have on file, there is still another way to verify your identity and regain access to your account.
After the quiz, you will be redirected to a portal where you will be able to upload images of your valid Driver’s License. It’s important to note that this verification option is only available on mobile devices. If you are using a desktop computer, you will see the following error message:
All you have to do is use any mobile device to navigate to www.creditkarma.com/no-email-access and follow the instructions on the screen. For more information on this verification process, check out the first section of this article.
I didn't receive the confirmation email to my new email address
If you don’t see the confirmation email in your main inbox, then make sure to check your Bulk, Junk, Spam and any other folders.
You can try searching your email for the subject: "Confirm Your Email Change" and the sender: notifications@creditkarma.com. This email inbox is not monitored, so please do not reply to the message or send emails to that email address.
Your email address will not change until you verify it by clicking the link in the email we send to your new email address.
