How do I get health coverage with Pennie?

Path to Pennie is a new program that connects uninsured Pennsylvanians with health coverage through Pennie®. Pennie is Pennsylvania’s official health and dental insurance marketplace and the only source for financial assistance to reduce the cost of coverage and care.

Pennie and the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue have teamed up to allow uninsured tax filers to indicate they would like to receive more information about coverage available through Pennie.

Here’s how it works for TurboTax customers

If you, or a member of your household, are uninsured, and you filed your Pennsylvania tax return with TurboTax, simply follow the steps below:

1. Call Pennie Customer Service at 1-844-844-8040
2. Tell them you are interested in the Path to Pennie program
3. Make sure to mention you filed your taxes with Intuit TurboTax
