How does the Early Payday feature work?

SOLVEDby TurboTaxUpdated 1 week ago

Receiving early direct deposit gives you up to two more days to plan more, save more, and do more with your paycheck. With our Early Payday feature you are able to get access to your paycheck up to 2 days early.*

What is Early PayDay?

Early direct deposit is exactly what it sounds like. With Credit Karma Money Spend you can get access to your paycheck up to two days early.

With Early Payday, there’s no more waiting for payday while your money sits in some mysterious electronic limbo. Your money is posted as soon as the money is received. That means you could have your paycheck in your Credit Karma Money Spend account up to two days earlier than your coworkers.

How do I get early direct deposit?

Setting up direct deposit to your Credit Karma Money Spend account automatically makes you eligible for Early Payday. Note that it usually takes 1 to 2 pay cycles to switch your direct deposit to a new bank account. Instead of waiting until your payday to deposit the funds, your funds are posted to your account as soon as they are received, which may be up to two days earlier than the standard payroll electronic deposit.

What time does direct deposit hit your online bank account?

Your money is posted as soon as the money is received. Your direct deposit will go through and be posted to your account up to two days earlier than the standard payroll electronic deposit. Timing and availability may vary from paycheck to paycheck, and your payor may not submit paychecks early.

*Early access is dependent on and subject to payor submitting payroll information to the bank before release date. Payor may not submit paycheck early.
