How do I check my 2025 tax return for incorrect Form 1095-A information?
Due to an error, some TurboTax customers using import services to upload their Form(s) 1095-A to TurboTax might have incorrect data in their tax return. Please note, when using import services, the customer is responsible for verifying the accuracy of the information that is imported—see Terms of Service for details.
If we notified you, we recommend you review your return and, if needed, amend your return as soon as possible.
Here’s what to do next:
Locate the Federal section of your return
Find the Deductions and Credits section
Select Health Insurance Marketplace (1095-A), or locate it under the Medical section
Compare a physical or electronic copy of your 1095-A form(s) with what’s in TurboTax.
If there are any incorrect entries, you will need to delete all of your 1095-A forms. Select Edit, then Delete for each of them.
To re-add form(s) 1095-A and amend your return:
Select Add a 1095-A
Follow the directions to manually re-add your 1095-A form(s)
After ensuring all 1095-As have been correctly added, return to the Tax Home.
Under Your tax returns & documents, select Amend (change) return to begin the amendment process.
TurboTax will guide you through the amend process. Be sure to answer any additional questions.
If you have reviewed the 1095-A form(s) reported on your return and found no incorrect information, you may leave TurboTax without filing an amended return. The IRS and your state agency will continue to refer to the most recent return you have filed with them.
