How do I amend my 2023 state return to correct Wisconsin Nonresident Income Allocation?
by TurboTax•10• Updated 5 months ago
Due to an error, some Wisconsin nonresidents reported their interest and dividends as taxable income to Wisconsin. As a result, these customers overpaid their Wisconsin state tax and might have underpaid their resident state tax.
If we notified you, please select your version of TurboTax below and follow the instructions as soon as possible.
- Write down the original refund or balance due amount for your Wisconsin income taxes and Resident state income taxes. We recommend you check the paper/PDF copy of your return, or your banking records to verify the correct amount.
