Did I make a contribution to a HSA based on the last month-rule?
From the answer: The "last month" rule applies only if you started in the HSA during 2016.... If you were in the HSA all year, then you would answer " No " to the question asking if you made contributions under the last month rule.

If I request a 401k distribution today on 12/31/17 and it is processed on 1/2/2018 do I fill out a 1099r for 2017 or 2018 taxes?
From the answer: *You* do not "fill out" a 1099R for yourself.... When you have a distribution from a retirement account, the financial institution that handles your retirement account issues the 1099R.

Is there a reason when I track my return it says accepted, and has now for over a week?
From the answer: It simply means that your e-filed return is being processed and that the government hasn't approved or rejected it yet.

I was insured under my parents plan last year but that option is not presented to me. What do I do?
From the answer: If you were covered under your parent's plan all year in 2017, you would take the option of "I had health insurance coverage the whole year" and move on.
