How do I contact SBTPG and get them to send me my Federal tax refund which the IRS released on May 1st?

If you requested to have the TurboTax account fees deducted from your federal tax refund, the IRS will send the refund to a third party processor to have the fees and the service charge deducted.  The third party processor will deduct the TurboTax fees plus the service charge and then attempt to direct deposit the remaining refund balance into the account that you entered on your tax return.

For the status of your tax refund you will need to contact the third party processor, Santa Barbara Tax Product Group, using their website - https://www.sbtpg.com/

So you are sure the IRS has released the refund?  Did you learn that from this tool?

You can actually log into your temporary account at SBTPG's website linked above to see the status.   At that main page choose the Taxpayer portal, and see what information it provides.

If the direct deposit from SBTPG's bank to your bank (or prepaid card) fails, it is returned to SBTPG, who will issue you a check in the mail less an additional $20 service fee.
