Form 1116 (COPY 1) -- Foreign Tax Credit Comp Wks: Total FEI - Dedns must be entered

- I was resident outside of the US and earnt foreign wages. I completed the foreign tax credit worksheet, but I get this error in the federal review - whatever I enter brings my foreign tax credit to 0 - what should I enter?

Form 1116 (COPY 1) -- Foreign Tax Credit Comp Wks: Total FEI - Dedns must be entered

Bring up the f1116 wks. Scroll down to Part 3. Put the pointer over 12a1 and right click. On the box that appears, click on the bottom line "about  excluded FEI. Another box will appear with detailed info for boxes 12a1 thru 12a5.

I am running into same error. I am using TurboTax Premier online version. Right clicking on the 12 a1 shows nothing other than browser right-click menu. Can you please provide solution for online premier version? I am stuck. Please help!

Here we are in April 2023, and it still doesn't work.  Foreign Tax Credit gets zeroed out.  A disgraceful performance by TurboTax / Intuit.  You owe apologies and refunds to your overseas customers.
