If you filed my return with NC, and I paid via credit card why do I need to send a voucher? Wouldn't the voucher have been included with what you sent?

If you filed my return electronically with North Carolina, and I paid via credit card on North Carolina's web site, why do I need to send a voucher? Wouldn't the voucher have been included with what you sent to North Carolina?

In the FILE tab, if you told the program you would mail in a payment but then paid online instead you would not also use the voucher.  The voucher was NOT sent to the state, it's only purpose was to accompany the check you said you would send ... since you are not going to send a check it has no purpose so ignore it.
