California (CA) automatically grants a 6-month extension to October 15, you do not need to file any special forms for an extension. If you owe CA taxes, submit payment by April 15 (or ASAP) to avoid penalties.

Here are 3 payment options:

Print and mail Form FTB 3519 along with your check payment
Pay online at their Web Pay site
Put it on your credit card
