I completed a charitable project. I was awarded money under $5000 to cover the costs of expenses. How to I classify the 1099-Misc I received for this?

I just want to accurately account for this money to show that it was not just personal income but that it was dedicated to a charitable project that had expenditures and was completed.

I would enter it in the "1099-Misc" section, Then under deductions, enter your expenses related to this charitable work.
