Deductions state taxes

itemized deductions, "state and local taxes >$10K" showed reduced deductions of $4.5 K. What caused this? No item like this last year

It's part of the new tax law. The combined Federal deduction for State/Local/Sales/Property taxes is limited to $10,000.

I see. the 3 items in the table above this (property tax, sales tax, vehicle registration) were 1st included in the itemized deductions and then the amount above $10K was removed on this line.
