Torbotax is importing my employer w2 twice into my NY state return doubling taxable wages- how do you delete 2nd entry on NY form?

I had a very similar problem in which a 1099 was listed twice, causing me to have to submit an amended federal return, which then caused havoc with my state return. I solved it by finding the form that listed all sources of income and deleting the duplicate. If you perchance have not yet filed your taxes, be careful that TurboTax doesn’t automatically proceed to compile an “amended” return, even though you don’t want to amend it. At the beginning of easy step is a form that provides an option box for “Amended.” Be sure it’s not checked.
