After being accepted by the IRS how long is the delay in the earned income credit

The IRS is no longer holding returns with the earned income credit. The are processing returns as they receive them. The IRS states that most taxpayers with receive their refund within 21 days (business days) of their return being accepted, if they choose direct deposit. If your return has been accepted, then only the IRS would know when you will receive your refund.

When you sign up for Pay With My Refund, your refund will be handled through the Santa Barbara Tax Products Group (SBTPG, formerly SBBT).
You can go to the Santa Barbara Tax Products Group website if you need assistance with your refund.
