My nys e file says it was accepted but i received a letter saying its not. When i try to create an account with them it says my info is incorrect. What do i do

First, Accepted means accepted (received) for processing. It does not mean Approved.

Was this for 2018? The letter from NYS probably said they Denied your refund after receiving your return. 

Or was the letter for an earlier year? They may be saying that they cannot process 2018 until you file (for example) 2017.

Please tell us exactly what the letter says, or call the number on the letter for assistance.
