To add to the above question, the only "other" income coming from Illinois other than paycheck was unemployment compensation of $545 (lost job in December), and had a bank account in Illinois and earned $202.55 in interest.

Interest, capital gains, and taxable refund should be allocated only to your state of residence. Only income related to your non-resident state is allocated to that state.
