rentals and royalties

I have a timeshare with gross rental income of $843.44 on 1099 misc for 4 nights. My fees for 1week annual is $938.   The fees for the rent time was $470.03. I netted $423.41 for the rental.

Report $843.44 as gross rental on Schedule E

How much for my expenses-Annual fee + rental expense? Show loss?

Total income for year is less than $125,000, married filing jointly.



For a rental of a residence less than 14 days, it is not reportable on an income tax return.   However, if your reccieve a 1099MISC, you need to show it somewhere on your tax return.  Here is a suggested solution:
