There is no where to enter the amount for box 2 from my 1098 t on turbo tax for 2018, where do I put that?

box 1 is blank but there is an amount in box 2, however on turbo tax there is no box 2. Does that get entered somewhere else?

You don't put it anywhere. Box 2 is not used on Form 1098-T for 2018 and later. The school is required to report the amount of tuition paid in box 1. If the school put an amount in box 2 and left box 1 blank, they filled out the 1098-T incorrectly. You have to contact the school and get a corrected Form 1098-T.

OOOHHHHHH! I'm having this same issue. My wife's school (hospital with nursing school) is reporting box two on the 1098-T. If they aren't allowed to do that anymore then that would explain why box 2 doesn't exist on TurboTax. I will call them ASAP.
