I am unable to import my 1099 composite from charles schwab. I do not want to enter by hand because it is error-prone. Is there a reason auto-import is failing?

The import screen for Schwab says some type of 1099s are not available for importing purposes until "after February 15."  i.e, try on Friday or this weekend.

Just because you can download at the Schwab website doesn't mean importing of the form is ready.  This is a different process and requires coordination between their servers and programmed software.

If  you still can't import then, there is a technical assistance phone number on that screen.

I tried several times and am locked out by Schwab.  Too many tries on log in.  Do I call schwab to unlock?

You are commenting on an older thread that may contain outdated information.  Can you please provide specific details about the issue you are experiencing? 

If your Schwab account is locked, you would need to reach out to Schwab for assistance.
