Can I file a 1099 Misc with the Freedom Edition?

I am trying to file my 1099 Misc along with my W-2 on the Freedom edition however when I go through the steps, it only brings me to the W-2 page. When I click the what if I have a 1099 button, it tells me that I need to call support.

Yes with the Tax Freedom website you can.  Are you sure you are really in Tax Freedom?  It can be tricky to log in to that one and it may take you back to the regular Turbo Tax Free Edition.

In order to use the Tax Freedom Edition, you have to start it at a special website:

When you get to Tax Freedom use the link to "I Qualify, Start Now" at the bottom instead of the sign in link. And you have to create a new account, if you use the same account info it will take you back to Turbo Tax.

Hi smjohnson26,

The reason you are getting that message is because TurboTaxFreedom does not have any support, and when you click on the "What if I have a 1099 Misc" question it is as if you are asking the question to support. You can file your 1099 Misc with Freedom, you just need to continue through the process until it prompts you to enter the information for it. I went ahead and walked through the process and did not have any issues. Please see the screenshot  I have attached.
