I paid PMI on a rental property. It is not reported on my 1098, but is reported on my end of year mortgage statement. Can I deduct it in additional rental expenses?

Yes.  Since the PMI is for a rental property and not for your primary residence, it can be deducted as a rental expense on Schedule E.
