Is it too late to get the audit defense protection ad on after filing my tax returns?

 For whatever reason, when I finished my federal, state and city returns and printed them last night for TY 2016 (Oct 16, 2017), TurboTax did not offer me audit defense protection this year. It was near the filing deadline, so I went ahead and mailed my returns last night before the Post Office closed, and did not have time to figure out what went wrong with being able to get the defense protection. I'd like to get it now, if that is possible. Thanks.

Since you have filed your 2016 tax return the Max benefits bundle which includes Audit Defense cannot be purchased through TurboTax.  Go to the Audit Defense website for information and to purchase Audit Defense for the 2016 tax return - https://www.taxaudit.com/
