Rent and Utilities is there.  Expand the box for Less Common Expenses.  Rent goes under the first one for Building or Land Rental and Utilities is at the very bottom.

Here's some screen shots.  Do you get to the first screen shot page?  Then keep scrolling down.

Have you entered any other expenses yet?  The reason I ask is because the SE edition has two different "flows"...one is simple and one is "complex", which includes business expenses.

Under the expenses category there is no obvious place to "choose" where I work. I can not locate a list that includes shop rent/utilities anywhere

@crazyds12 Were you able to locate the places to enter your expenses? (Thanks to @VolvoGirl for the screenshots).

Okay, then you're already in the "complex" flow.

Under the Business tab, you'll see Business Income and Expenses.  Click on that, then from there select Business Expenses.

You should be able to select your business (already entered), and see several common Business Expense categories.  Rent is one of those categories.  Unless I'm mistaken (I don't have my program open right now), Utilities is also a pre-populated category.

Look for those categories and post back if you're unable to find them.  I'll go now and open my program to verify the exact verbiage for you.

@crazyds12 You'll find the list of those categories when you select, "I'll choose what I work on".  Where you entered your Vehicle Expenses, you'll see a title for "Other Common Business Expenses".  That's where you'll "Update" and see the entire list of expenses.  Rental Expense is one, and Utilities is also there.

I’m afraid that under common business expenses, I do not see rent or utilities. There is advertising, insurance, contract labor, equipment rental, legal fees, taxes etc No place for shop rent or utilities?

Let me try to share my screenshot of the "Other Common Business Expenses" screen.  I am using the desktop program, but would think the online program looks the same.
