Should TurboTax 2016 (Home & Business on CD) import data from my last year's Return.tax2015?

T'Tax2016 created a new "TurboTax" folder in My Documents (Windows 7). Apparently it can't find the similar path to folders built by recent CD-based TurboTax Home & Business Editions. During transition from Windows XP to Windows 7, the old paths got relocated to a different but accessible disk hierarchy. How do I help T'Tax find & import data from my last year's Return.tax2015?

Yes.  When you start a new return it should find the .tax2015 file and ask if you want to transfer it.  Or you can browse to where it is saved.  Do you know where the .tax2015 file is located?

Thanks for the tip. Copied last year's file to new folder, and it imported immediately.
