Not sure how to deduct food costs for my restaurant. Do i enter them as supplies or cost of goods sold?

Your food costs go in Cost of Goods Sold as it is the "product" you sell.. Supplies would be napkins, plates, utensils, and other similar items needed to "operate" your business.

Can I deduct sales tax for building supplies for home improvement for replacing my AC ductwork and for relining and replacing my plumbing?
