Go to Federal taxes tab, deductions and Credits. Scroll down to find your Education expenses and enter Edit.

I know how to get to the place to edit my information but it won’t let me change my educational expenses

Use these steps to access your education expenses.

Click on Federal

Click on Deductions & Credits.

Under Your Education Expenses Summary, click Edit/Add.

You may have to cycle through several questions.

Under Your Education Expenses Summary, you may click Edit or Delete.

If you are unable to click Edit, can you click Delete and start over?

Are you able to delete forms 8863, 8917 or the Education Tuition and Fees Summary and start over?

Here are the general procedures for viewing the forms list and deleting unwanted forms, schedules, and worksheets in TurboTax Online:

  • In the left menu, select Tax Tools and then Tools.
  • In the pop-up window Tool Center, choose Delete a form.
  • Select Delete next to the form/schedule/worksheet in the list and follow the instructions.
