How do I transfer data from a 1041, K-1 into my 2016 1040 form (what line or worksheet will work)?

I am the sole beneficiary for Irrevocable trust and need to get K-1 data (as income) into my 1040 for 2016. Do not see a line or worksheet for these entries ... Thanks

If you have a Schedule K-1 (for Form 1041 Trust), then the proper way to enter it in the Form 1040 program will be through the regular TurboTax Schedule K-1 interview.  Please do not attempt to transfer data using the automatic import feature or otherwise.  Typically, Schedule K-1 data entry efforts are more successful, and also more accurate, when done manually and carefully.

That said, with your Schedule K-1 (for Form 1041) in hand, you can access the correct beginning interview screen by following the main pathway:  Federal Taxes -> Wages & Income -> Business Items -> Schedules K-1, Q.  Alternatively, you can also use the "short-cut" method to get here, by following the instructions found at this TurboTax webpage:

https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1900938-where-do-i-enter-a-k-1-that-i-received

Once you reach this primary Schedule K-1 interview screen, simply follow the in-program instructions to add your Schedule K-1, Form 1041, income (as well as deductions and other tax attributes).
