Received letter from IRS saying fill out a 8962 form. Bought my coverage directly from Blue cross, didn't go through healthcare.gov, parents paid, i have 1095-B

I was wondering if I need to fill out the form the 8962 form the IRS gave me because I won't be getting a 1095-A because my parents paid the insurance for me and also they bought it directly from blue cross blue shield no third party company or do i send them the copy of the 1095-B so they know i had insurance coverage.

I would either send them the Form 1095-B with a letter of explanation or follow the directions below to prepare that information they are requesting. Either way, I would not ignore them. They are quite persistent.
