Can I remove PLUS?

You can remove PLUS from your order as long as you haven't already paid for it yet.

If you added PLUS to your order but you haven't paid for it yet, and you use the PLUS feature that transfers data from your prior year return to your current year return, you won't be able to directly remove PLUS from your order. However, you can log into your TurboTax account from a desktop computer or mobile browser and clear your return and start over.  This will remove PLUS from your order.

To remove PLUS from your order:

  1. Tap the orange Take me to my return button.
  2. Tap the menu icon next to the red TurboTax checkmark.
  3. Tap File.
  4. Tap Review your order.
  5. On the Your order summary screen, tap Remove under PLUS Benefits.
  6. To confirm your choice, tap Remove PLUS benefits on the next screen. 

If you don’t see Remove under PLUS Benefits, you will need to log into your TurboTax account from a desktop or mobile browser to clear your return and start over.
