When filing taxes together be cautious of how you filled out your W2 at the start of the job. Her claiming a different amoung of dependents on her W2 then you is interfering with the amount of federal taxes withheld from your paychecks. In short you may have payed more taxes with your job then she did. Meaning you get more back then she does in taxes.
