Is there Colorado state tax (income or sales) on sale of out-of-state property?

I'm a full time Colorado resident.  In 2015, I sold property I owned in the state of Connecticut.  Do I owe state income or sales tax to the state of Colorado?  TurboTax performed an import of my federal return to my Colorado return, but asked no questions to identify or segregate the money I received from the sale of Connecticut property from my main employment income.  I'm concerned about paying sales or income tax on the same amount of money in both Connecticut and Colorado.

Assuming the sale of the Connecticut property is taxable on the Federal return (it wasn't your personal residence and you had a profit) then it is also used to calculate your CO taxes, since they are based on the taxable income from your Federal return.  You also have to file a CT non resident return and pay CT tax on the profit.  But you are not double taxed.  After yo prepare the Federal return, next do the CT NR return.  Then when you prepare the CO return, take credit for the CT tax.

Correct, your Colorado taxes are based on your entire income, but then you get to delete the amount you paid to Connecticut from your Colorado tax liability.
