How do I clear & start over?

Need to start over in the TurboTax mobile app? You can't do it in the app, but you can in the online version. Here’s how:

  1. Close the TurboTax mobile app.
  2. Open your web browser, go to TurboTax, and log into your account. (Your User ID and password will be the same as for your mobile app account.)
  3. Tap on the bright orange button that says Take me to my return.
  4. Choose My account, and Clear & Start Over.
  5. You’ll be asked if you want to clear your return. If you’re certain, select Yes.
Open your account in the mobile app, log in, and you'll start with a clean slate.
