Where do I enter my MA Excise Taxes?

The MA Excise Tax on automobiles counts as a personal property tax, and you would deduct it under Car Registration Fees.

  • Go to Federal Taxes
  • Choose Deductions and Credits
  • Scroll to Cars and Other Things You Own
  • Choose Car Registration Fees.

Where do I enter my MA Excise Taxes?

I bought a new car.
So can I add the 55 registration fee and the regular excise tax together? or as separate line items?
