You can track your refund at the North Carolina Department of Revenue Refund Process page. Select Where's My Refund to get started. You'll have to enter the exact amount of your expected refund in whole dollars. You can find this by signing in to TurboTax.
The refund date doesn't include the time it takes for your bank to process a direct deposit or the time it takes for a check to arrive in the mail.
Statement from the North Carolina Department of Revenue: You can get up to date information regarding refund processing and check the status of your refund online at www.ncdor.gov/refund. To view refund status information, you will be prompted to enter your Social Security Number along with the exact amount of your refund. You can also call our toll-free refund inquiry line at 1-877-252-4052, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
