How do I track my Missouri tax refund?

SOLVEDby TurboTax2952Updated December 19, 2023

You can track your refund at the Missouri Return/Refund Tracker page.

The state will ask you to enter the exact amount of your expected refund in whole dollars. You can find this by signing in to TurboTax. If you're using the mobile app, you may need to scroll down to find your refund amount.

The refund date you'll see doesn't include the days your financial institution may take to process a direct deposit or the time a paper check may take to arrive in the mail. If you still have questions about your state tax refund, contact the Missouri Department of Revenue.

As much as we would like to help, TurboTax does not distribute refunds, only the IRS or your state tax agency can legally do so.

Statement from the Missouri Department of Revenue: Generally, the timeframe for issuing refunds depends on when the return is filed and the incoming volumes. For returns filed in January with no review required, refunds can be issued within a week. However, refunds from returns filed in April can take longer. The timing of refunds is also affected by the Department’s measures to prevent identity theft and refund fraud. Refunds will only be issued when the Department has taken reasonable steps to ensure that the individuals claiming the refunds are not using stolen identities.
