I was just able to order my transcripts over the phone , I got accepted on 1/30 but no DDD yet. Does that mean I should be getting approved yet??

Accepted on 1/30, not approved yet.  When I tried to order the transcripts online it kept saying error , but I was able to order them over the irs phone number, both account and return transcripts.  Does that mean I'll be getting a DDD soon ??
  • Same question. Online and mail requests says information doesn't match, but I was able to do so by phone. Not sure if it allows the request over the phone regardless of whether your return has been approved or not. Still on first bar of WMR.
  • Well today I got my DDD for 2/12 so I think the phone is just like like the Internet for ordering your transcripts.

i am hearing from others that , being able to order your transcripts for the year  means an approval follows...a transcript means that your return was filed and done by the irs

  • Yes it definatelyyy did ! Thanks got my DDD this morning =)

Hello,

Generally, it takes about 2 weeks (from the date the return is accepted by the IRS) to have your refund deposited if you are filing your taxes electronically and you have requested direct deposit.

Once your return is accepted by the IRS, you may click on Where is my Refund. It is a great tool to find out the status of your refund. You only need to check once a day.

Good luck!

I hope you have found this information helpful.

  • Please TT employees, stop referring us to WMR. You people know that it's inaccurate and quite frankly it makes you all sound incompetent. It's better to not say anything at all if the info you give isn't helpful.
  • I agree jordansdad.. Wmr is so overloaded I can not access it half the time and when I can it gives me no info... I could pull my transcripts but not the return one until today now I keep getting the error code... The IRS sucks this year

People come to TurboTax AnswerXchange for help and answers—we want to let them know that we're here to listen and share our knowledge. We do that with the style and format of our responses. Here are five guidelines:

  1. Keep it conversational. When answering questions, write like you speak. Imagine you're explaining something to a trusted friend, using simple, everyday language. Avoid jargon and technical terms when possible. When no other word will do, explain technical terms in plain English.
  2. Be clear and state the answer right up front. Ask yourself what specific information the person really needs and then provide it. Stick to the topic and avoid unnecessary details. Break information down into a numbered or bulleted list and highlight the most important details in bold.
  3. Be concise. Aim for no more than two short sentences in a paragraph, and try to keep paragraphs to two lines. A wall of text can look intimidating and many won't read it, so break it up. It's okay to link to other resources for more details, but avoid giving answers that contain little more than a link.
  4. Be a good listener. When people post very general questions, take a second to try to understand what they're really looking for. Then, provide a response that guides them to the best possible outcome.
  5. Be encouraging and positive. Look for ways to eliminate uncertainty by anticipating people's concerns. Make it apparent that we really like helping them achieve positive outcomes.
