How do I enter estimated tax payments in TurboTax Business?

In most cases, you can get to the estimated taxes section by opening your return, clicking the Federal Taxes tab, and then choosing Other right below it.

You might have to answer a few questions before you get to the estimated taxes screen.

You can also try searching for estimated tax payments in the upper-right corner to jump straight to the estimated tax entry screen.

Exceptions are S corporation and partnership returns, detailed below.

S Corporations

If you run one of the few S-Corporations that owes income tax, you'll need to enter your estimated tax payments in Forms Mode:

  1. In the upper right corner of TurboTax, click Forms.
  2. In the left pane, click Information Wks.
  3. Scroll down to Part III of the worksheet. Enter your estimated payments in the appropriate Date Paid and Amount Paid columns.
  4. When finished, click Step-by-Step in the upper right corner to return to the interview.


Partnerships do not pay taxes. Rather, income and expenses are passed on to the partners, who then report the information on their personal returns.
