Move your 2013 TurboTax for the iPad return to your computer (or vice-versa)

TurboTax for iPad supports file sharing through iTunes. This means you can create your 2013 tax return in TurboTax for iPad, then move your tax data file to your computer as a back-up or to continue preparing your return there.

You can also do the reverse – move your TurboTax return off your computer and onto your iPad device.

To do this you'll need:

  • An iPad running iOS 6.1 or later.
  • The TurboTax for iPad app installed on the device
  • A USB cable to connect your iPad to your computer
  • A Mac or Windows computer with the following installed software:

    • Windows:  Windows XP, Vista , 7, or 8  and TurboTax 2013 - CD/Download for Windows
