Form 5498 reports your IRA contributions to the IRS. The copy you receive in the mail is for your records only and does not need to be filed with your tax return.
Your IRA trustee or issuer – not you – is required to file this form with the IRS by May 31.
Since Form 5498 is only for your information, it does not need to be entered into TurboTax.
