Error 543: "TurboTax could not open, save, or load the data file..."
Error 543 occurs when attempting to save a tax return data file, usually because the location you want to save to is not available, for example a network or a removable drive.
This error may also occur if you are trying to save to an unformatted or damaged disk.
To resolve, save your file in another location, preferably a local drive. You can then transfer your file to a network or removable drive later.
If problems persist, try saving it to a different drive.
