How do I get a replacement for a lost or damaged TurboTax CD?

2016 CDs

If your newly-purchased 2016 TurboTax CD is damaged or defective, mail it within 60 days of receipt (or within 60 days from the date you purchased it from a retailer) to:

Intuit Inc.
Attn: Returns Department
PO Box 580926 (for shipments, use Door 20, 11500 80th Ave instead)
Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158

Include a dated receipt or packing slip. Once we receive your CD, we'll mail a replacement to your address on file.

Tip: If you bought your CD from a retailer, you might try asking them for an exchange first. If they refuse, you can then follow the process above. This won't affect your rights under our TurboTax Satisfaction Guarantee.

For 2016 CDs that were damaged or lost after the 60-day window, follow the process for older CDs, below.

2015, 2014, and 2013 CDs

To get a replacement for TurboTax 2015–2013 software (or 2016 software beyond the 60-day replacement window), contact us for a downloadable copy. If you don't already have a download account with us, you'll need to set one up.

We no longer provide replacements for TurboTax 2012 or earlier software.
