At this time we have been in contact with Santa Barbara Bank & Trust (the Financial Institution that handles the Direct Deposit for Refund Transfer) and they have advised that they HAVE NOT received any refunds from the IRS at this time. The IRS has stated that although there have been some returns that have been ACCEPTED, they are not issuing refunds until the 1/30/2013 date they advised of earlier this month.

You can look up your refund status at the IRS “Where’s My Refund” site (www.irs.gov/individuals/article/0,,id=96596,00.html). The IRS site has the latest info about your refund, straight from the source. You’ll want to bookmark that site and check back periodically, say every 2-3 days. Don’t worry if your expected refund date changes as it works its way through their system; this is normal. Last year, 9 out of 10 taxpayers received their refund in less than 21 days. The same is expected this year.
Hope this helps!
Like many people are stating, I can confirm that you you will not see a refund until after the 30th
Why? Because the IRS has said what?
"Due to recent tax law changes, we will open filing season and start processing individual income tax returns on January 30. This applies to tax returns filed on paper or electronically. "
If the IRS distributes the refund like they did in the past, I'm guessing people will start seeing deposits on the 8th.
Please people, don't feed the trolls or give them credence by remotely considering they are saying anything other than a lie. Because anything other than, "no I haven't gotten a refund," is just plain false. This includes "my friend," or "my dog" too.
I filed on the 17th and was accepted on 1/24
"Your 2012 tax return has not been processed. Refunds are being processed and checks/direct deposits are going out every week. Right now we are slightly ahead of last year's pace and while we are unable to estimate an exact time frame, we are working as quickly as possible to issue refunds within 45 days, as long as they do not have errors or require review. We update refund information by 6 PM daily. Your refund information will remain the same throughout the day. Please wait at least 24 hours before inquiring again."
Good to know. :)

Congratulations! The IRS has accepted this return, and you're finished with your taxes.
SO strangely enough it only took a little over 4 hrs for the IRS to accept it...somebody must have had a clean desk lol
Congratulations, you finished your taxes! Now you're probably wondering: When will I get my refund?
The IRS will begin processing returns on January 30. Within 48 hours of e-filing (or February 2, whichever comes later) you can start tracking your refund by following these directions:
- TurboTax Online: If you e-filed and chose direct-deposit, sign in to My TurboTax to track your refund.
All others: Wait at least 24 hours after your e-file has been accepted (4 weeks if you mailed your return), and then visit the IRS "Where's My Refund" page.
- The IRS "Where's My Refund" page has the latest info about your refund, straight from the source. Bookmark that site so you can check back periodically.
- Don't worry if your expected refund date keeps changing; this is normal. Last year, 9 out of 10 taxpayers received their refund in less than 21 days. The same is expected this year.
Tax season dont even start untill the 30th... then you have at least 21 days (if direct deposit) after its even accepted to have it processed and sent to your account. if mail or a tax card you have to wait about 25 days. So ya...Way to early to ask, and nobody has the money cuz it dont start untill the 30th!
