You can enter the 1099-MISC in TurboTax as "Other Common Income," which is reported on line 8 of 1040 Schedule 1 and will not generate Schedule C or SE tax. Please use the following steps:
Click on Federal > Wages & Income.
Scroll down to the Other Common Income section.
Click on the Start/Revisit box next Form 1099-MISC.
On the screen Did you get a 1099-MISC? click on the Yes button.
On the next screen, Let's get the info from your 1099-MISC, enter the information from the 1099-MISC.
On the following screens, answer the following questions:
Did it involve work that's like your main job? No.
You got it in 2019
No , it didn't involve an intent to earn money
7. Continue through the rest of the interview screens. The income will appear as Other Income .

No - your phone number should not affect the processing of your return or your refund. If the IRS wants to contact you, they will do it by mail and not by phone.

Yes - Rental losses are usually classified as "passive losses" for tax purposes, with two exceptions:
you or your spouse qualify as a real estate professional, or
you "actively participate" in the rental activity.
Property owners with modified adjusted gross incomes of $100,000 or less may deduct up to $25,000 in rental real estate losses per year if they "actively participate" in the rental activity. You actively participate if you are involved in meaningful management decisions regarding the rental property and have more than a 10% ownership interest in the property. This allowance is phased out for taxpayers whose MAGI exceeds $100,000 and eliminated entirely when it exceeds $150,000.
You should still be able to access your 2018 returns. Transferring the information to 2019 does not remove the information from the 2018 return. Did you use the online or CD/Download version of TurboTax for your 2018 return?

You should file a 1040X to include that corrected 1099-DIV. Otherwise you'll get a letter from the IRS.
If you have already filed your return, you have to wait until the IRS either rejects or accepts your return.
If your return is rejected, you will be able to go into your account, make the changes to your tax return, and re-submit your return.
If the IRS accepts your return, however, then you have to wait longer until it has been fully processed and you have received your refund. THEN you can prepare an amended tax return and mail it in.
IMPORTANT: Meanwhile, DO NOT go in and start changing anything on your return in the system, or you will make a mess for yourself. Sit tight and wait until you see what the IRS does with the return you just e-filed.
Please see the instructions contained in these TurboTax Help articles to amend your return:

Is your return being rejected when you e-file? The rejection email should tell you what information doesn't match IRS records. If you are sure the information you have entered is correct, contact the IRS at 1-800-829-1040 for further guidance.

It can take anywhere from a few hours to 3 weeks for the IRS to officially accept your return and then your information should show in the Refund tool within 24 hours of acceptance. The IRS refund tool updates daily so try not to worry. If the status has not changed in the next couple of days then try contacting the IRS.
A suggestion from one of our customers: If you filed your return as head of household, try changing the status in the Refund Tool to single.
