We discovered a programming issue in the 2018 TurboTax Colorado state electronic file submission regarding the reporting of federal taxable income on your Colorado Form 104. The e-file submission to the Colorado Department of Revenue incorrectly transmitted the amount reported for your federal taxable income. This didn't affect the calculation of your return or change the amount of any tax refund or taxes owed.
The paper version of your Colorado Form 104 is correct and reflects the correct federal taxable income, Colorado income tax, and dollar amounts as intended. To correct the state’s copy of your tax return, you'll need to amend your return. The amended return won't change your refund or create additional tax due. It will simply correct the amount of your federal taxable income reported to Colorado.

You may receive a notice from the State of Colorado indicating a correction to your federal taxable income and requesting additional tax. The amended return should resolve the issue and eliminate the additional tax due. If you've already mailed the amended return, we suggest you reply to the notice letting the state know you've filed an amended return that has corrected the federal taxable income and eliminated the additional tax due. If you haven't already filed an amended return, you should mail the amended return along with a copy of the notice to the address listed on the notice.
