When should I be getting my tax return and how do I know if its filed? it says that i filed my 2018 taxes but it says next to my dollar amount, it is ready to mail. I finished them February 6th

You may check your e-filing status by using the link below:

https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/   

It sounds like your return is set to be mailed vs e-filed; the Turbo Tax program facilitates the filing process of both methods. If you inadvertently selected this method and do in fact wish to e-file, you will need to make a switch by following the steps below:
