You'll need to revisit this area. The IRS instructions related to disaster distributions weren't ready in time for us to include them in this release.

I received a 1099-R, I withdrew because of COVID and now I'm receiving this message. Any ideas when I can return?

At this point in time the Form 8915-E (Qualified 2020 Disaster Retirement Plan Distributions and Repayments (Use for Coronavirus-Related Distributions)) is not finalized. We currently do not have an estimated date when the form is ready.

Please sign-up here and we will email you once the form is live.

It seems that the IRS released the information for this form on February 12th, when will this be updated in your system so we can file our taxes? This is the only portion I am waiting for.

Thank you,

When do you expect Turbo tax to be updated for this form?

Form 8915-F replaces Form 8915-E.

Form 8915-F is used to report a disaster-related retirement distribution, and any repayments of those funds. It also allows you to spread the taxable portion of the distribution over three years, if needed and report prior year distribution amounts which are to be taxed in 2021.

Th Form won't be available until 03/24/2022. Federal Individual Form Availability
