Have you actually printed, signed, dated, and mailed the returns?  TurboTax does not mail them for you.

If YOU haven't mailed them, do you want to try to efile them?

You didn't say if you had printed and mailed them or not.  If you haven't filed by mail and wish to change methods, we can tell you how to open the return back up, change the filing method to efile, and try to efile them.

Sorry but Printed or Ready to Mail means you have to print out your return and mail it to the IRS yourself. So it has not been filed yet. How to change from Mail to Efile https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/5561257
